While Remnant 2 is great if you can play with friends, some people prefer to go it alone through the different worlds or want to have a separate class for playing alone. Thankfully, there is one Archetype that can be a great help when you’re fighting alone, and that’s due to the special friend it will provide you on the battlefield.
Any class will be fine if you’re playing solo in Remnant 2, but the option to have a dog by your side will come in handy more than you’d think.
What is the best class to play solo in Remnant 2?
While any class can be played solo, the Handler will provide you with a unique boost in that it will give you a dog companion that can heal you once per instance when you go down. This will keep you from dying as frequently and give you a second chance at the cost of one of your Relic healing charges. The dog can also pull the aggro of your enemies as long as you have the right Skill equipped.
Since Remnant 2 is incredibly difficult when you’re playing alone, you’ll need any help you can get, especially if that keeps you from having to start back at a checkpoint as often.
Your dog will also keep all the enemies from piling up on you, basically acting as if you had another player in the game with you anyway. There is also a perk that will heal you when you’re near the puppy and increases the animal’s attack damage.
The Handler class is great because it also works well in multiplayer for those same reasons. Players can signal their dog to revive friends and stick by their side to protect them in the same way that it protects the Handler.
