Deep Rock Galactic Season 4 Description
Deep Rock Galactic Season 4 introduces a host of new features and challenges for its players. The new seasonal event, Rockpox Corruptor, has players face evolved plague hearts from Season 3, which now have grown into formidable monsters impervious to gunfire. Players must use Cleansing Equipment to breach their bulletproof exteriors and attack their vulnerable cores. Successful missions will earn players Scrip to use in the Performance Pass.
Alongside this formidable event, Hoxxes, the game’s environment, has birthed two new enemies, Glyphid Stingtail and Glyphid Septic Spreader. The Stingtail uses its tail to ensnare its prey, impaling them on its frontal horns, while the Septic Spreader hurls toxic biomatter causing widespread septic discharge on impact.
The Lithophage infection continues to evolve, leading to the emergence of Rockpox variants of familiar enemies, including Rockpox Breeders, Bombers, Spitters, and Exploders.
Season 4 also introduces Jet Boots, a new equipment feature developed by R&D, allowing players to achieve airborne status on missions. However, it’s reminded that gravity remains a significant hazard on Hoxxes. To assist players, an Arcade Challenge is available to practice the unlocking mechanism of the Jet Boots crate.
Further additions include a new beer, Randoweisser, which randomizes player equipment and cosmetics for a mission. The Loadout terminal also features a new option to randomize gear and upgrades.
Armor options have expanded to include sleeveless variants for the regular Mk1 – Mk5 armors and the Scale Brigade set.

The new Performance Pass is designed to reward players for their efforts against the Lithophage. Players can earn Season XP to unlock rewards and exchange Plague Hearts for Scrip to spend in the Cosmetic Tree. For example, six Plague Hearts equate to 1 Scrip, which can be used to acquire rewards such as the new Infected Weapon Framework.
Lastly, a new DLC, the Decontaminator Pack, has been announced. Tweaked based on community feedback, this pack includes a new set of Weapon Frameworks and the Decontaminator Paintjob, making a notable statement in the fight against the lithophage. The pack is set to go live alongside the new season.
